Christina Cray is a Nurse Practitioner with Charis Mental Health. She joined the practice in November of Christina graduated from Vincennes University with her Associates degree of science/Registered Nurse, magna cum laude in 1999. She worked in various intensive care units specializing in open heart
surgery and cardiology. She completed her BSN in 2015 from Old Dominion University and her masters
degree in 2017 from Walden University.
Christina is specially trained for the adult-gerontology population. Her interests include dementia, and
she has a special interest in adolescents and adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She uses
the approach of holistic care including the family in the care of the patient for the best outcomes.
Christina and her husband, Jason reside in Virginia Beach. Jason retired from the Navy after 30 years of
service. They have two children, Katlynn and Ian. They have one grandson, Keegan and can’t wait for the
arrival of their granddaughter in the fall of 2021. Christina enjoys kayaking, hiking and going to the
beach. She has 3 dachshunds, Boomer, Trixie, and Ellie.
