What to expect during your initial visit:
Your first visit will provide an opportunity for you and your provider to determine If continuation of the patient provider relationship will maximize your potential.
Providers at Charis Mental health do not simply “refill” or “continue” previous medication. Each new patient receives a psychiatric assessment. Upon the conclusion of your assessment, you and your provider will agree upon a patient centered plan of care. This plan may include or exclude previous medication, introduce new medication or include psychotherapy.
The providers at Charis Mental health, have chosen to cease prescription of Adderall and Xanax. For patients requiring the medications, we offer similar medications in the same class with longer duration of effectiveness.
